Aesthetics Worthing — Ela Strzesak

Concern

Stubborn Fat

Stubborn fat is a small, localised pocket that has not responded well to everyday habits. Under-chin fullness is a common example. It is not the same as wanting to lose weight, and it is not treated as a whole-body programme.

Understanding the concern

  • Some fat sits in places that are slow to change even when weight is stable.
  • Swelling after treatment can make an area look larger before it looks smaller. That matters if you have an event in the diary.
  • If the main goal is overall weight change, an injectable treatment is the wrong tool.

Options that may be discussed

These are relevant starting points, not a promise that any one treatment is suitable for you.

What a consultation covers

The area, your medical history and whether an injectable approach is appropriate are reviewed first. A course is not assumed. If fat dissolving is not suitable, that will be said clearly.
